Rob Bushway from GottaBeMobile.com found an interesting little blurb by Hilton Locke regarding Windows 7's Touch Features:
Microsoft's Hilton Locke, who used to work on the Tablet PC team and now works on the Windows Shell team, let us know today that if we are impressed with touch on the iPhone, then we'll be blown away by the touch features of the upcoming Windows 7.
Bring it on, Hilton - we are all ears and fingers!
I will say that if you are impressed by the "touch features" in the iPhone, you'll be blown away by what's coming in Windows 7. Now if only we could convince more OEMs that Windows Touch Technology is going to drive their sales.
Since Windows 7 won't be out for another three years or so, perhaps it would've been a better idea to focus on adding new touch features to Windows Vista instead via a Feature Pack add-on or a new Ultimate Extra seeing that Dell just released a multi-touch Tablet and there's bound to be more of those coming out within the next year...
