Adobe today announced Flash Player 9 Update 3, a new version that fixes a slew of bugs and introduces official support for rich, beautiful H.264 video. The same video codec that HD DVD, Blu-Ray and QuickTime 7 all use.
Also new in this release is support for High Efficiency AAC (HE-AAC) audio, as well as hardware acceleration and multi-core crunching for full-screen, hi-res video playback. A few Leopard-specific issues have been quashed (such as a bug when using Flash file uploaders at some sites), while a strange full-screen delay bug still exists for iMac users.
