XBoxed sent us an email informing us that they have put up an interview with Greg Peterson focusing on TriLunar's founding and their first game, Dragonkind. The interview covers platform and genre choice, basic games details, and snippets about TriLunar's founding members. They are also excited to announce that we will be hosting the "Official Dragonkind Forum". They will also be lunching a sub-site for Dragonkind over the next couple of weeks which will feature the team's development dairies along with the latest TriLunar news. Here is a snippet of the interview
Would you please give us a brief introduction to Dragonkind, TriLunar's first game?
Dragonkind is an action adventure game being developed for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. We are taking the best features of action platform games, and adding in the story and focus on characters that make console role-playing games popular. The focus of the game is on great game play versus managing screens of inventory or statistics.
As far as the game story goes, it is very much in the spirit of classic comic book series with a lot of focus on characters and engaging situations. Fans of Joe Madureira's Battle Chasers series of comics will know what we are shooting for - in many ways we are creating the feeling of being inside a real-time 3D comic book. In the game, you play the role of Grail, a young man with the mysterious ability to channel the power of dragons. The setting is our own particular version of classic fantasy, with a unique look and feel.
