Michael Dell is in the middle of his Small Business Town Hall here at the Reuters Building in Manhattan, and one small business owner asked him his thoughts on Vista (which she said she heard is a "horror story").
After a few laughs from the audience, Dell's founder, chairman and CEO answered, saying whether he thinks the market landscape surrounding Vista will soon change:
"In the near future, I don't think it's going to change a lot. We are seeing Vista penetration continue to increase. . . I think as businesses become more comfortable with it (they will adopt it). We're certainly going to offer XP and Vista for quite some time. You'll see certain new features in hardware that are much better supported in Vista because that's what they're designed around. . . "
If you're not ready to migrate to Vista today, he said, "you might want to think about when you're going to go to Vista." | ||
