The Mainframe Migration Alliance (MMA) announced today that over 100 organizations have joined since its founding in 2004. As the name suggests, the MMA is an institution aimed at easing the transition from legacy mainframe systems to modern, mainstream servers running on the Microsoft Windows Server platform. More than 40 companies have joined the MMA in the past year, and the organization is expected to continue expanding as the legacy market consolidates on newer hardware solutions.
