ATI Technologies has made an announcement to the effect that Microsoft Corp has selected the company's H.264 decoder for its Xbox 360 HD DVD player. In effect, users will be able to experience sharper and more true-to-life playback of high-definition content. The H.264 decoder is reportedly built-on ATI's Avivo technology, and harnesses the company's extensive know-how to offer gamers and others a near-perfect viewing experience. | ||
