European Competition Commissioner Neelie Kroes said Tuesday that Microsoft Corp. should be concerned about its reputation as well as the financial impact of antitrust rulings.
Kroes, who will decide before the end of July whether to impose daily fines of $2.6 million on Microsoft, said the software maker should take account of its image.
"It's not only a matter of financial aspects in such cases, it's also a matter of reputation," Kroes said at a European Parliament meeting in Brussels, Belgium.
