Last week a comment made by Microsoft's Peter Moore, when speaking in an interview with Kikizo, sent internet chat forums into overtime. Moore said "Nobody is concerned anymore about backward compatibility," adding, "More are coming... but at some point you just go 'there's enough,' or 'let's move on.'"
The apparent end of the backwards compatibility updates for the Xbox 360 was not received with open arms, but a recent post on the blog of Microsoft Games' global marketing team tells a different story. According to a post by team member John Porcaro, a new update will be released in the next few weeks which will add support for at least twelve new titles.
