Mini-Microsoft is going to give it a rest. The Microsoft employee whose "Mini-Microsoft" blog has ripped the company's execs, strategy, products, and personnel policies says his Sunday night post "is the end."
His farewell coincided with publication of an article in the Seattle Times. The reporter, Danny Westneat, did not reveal Mini's name, rank, serial number or job title. He did, however, quote Mini saying he's "gotten sloppy ... making a series of 'dumb mistakes' that could have allowed digital sleuths to ID him." Mini claimed that, during the two years he's been blogging, he hasn't told his wife about it, to shield her from the stress.
