Assuming you followed Joystiq's heartstopping liveblog coverage of Sony's E3 keynote, you're already aware that the PS3 will sell for $499 (20g HD) or $599 (60g HD). That means European gamers will have to pay a minimum of $633 for Kutaragi's credit card-maxing machine. All that money won't get you graphics that blow away your year-old Xbox 360, but it will get you a half-assed rip-off of Nintendo's motion-sensing controller that has Wii-tards banging their mushroom-shaped heads against the wall. If Microsoft drops their price by $100 as expected, they will clean up come Christmas.
