Disk drive maker Seagate Technology LLC today announced that it signed a three-year, multimillion dollar deal with high-tech exchange E2open.
Scotts Valley, Calif.-based Seagate will use E2open's product collaboration service to tie together disparate applications and facilitate communication across both internal and external parties.
The solution will be deployed globally to more than 10,000 Seagate employees and 2,000 trading partner users, the companies said.
The latest announcement -- the biggest one for the product collaboration offering to date, according to E2open executives --extends an existing relationship between the two companies. Seagate is one of the 10 founding members of E2open, Belmont, Calif.
