VisionTek earns #1 spot in retail sales | |

VisionTek, a leading provider of advanced graphics and memory solutions for PCs, today announced that it has captured the top retail spot among PC graphics accelerator manufacturers. Sparked by the soaring success of their Xtasy™ video cards based on Titanium™ graphics processing units (GPUs) from NVIDIA® Corporation, VisionTek seized more than 42 percent of all U.S. retail graphics card sales for November 2001, according to the latest report from NPD INTELECT Market Tracking®. The latest market share data confirms that VisionTek has taken a commanding retail lead over all other board manufacturers, marking the first time an NVIDIA graphics card partner has achieved market share dominance in U.S. stores. The news also means that VisionTek achieved a strategic sales goal to become the No. 1 supplier of graphics cards at retail by the end of 2001. | ||
