KUALA LUMPUR: Microsoft (M) Sdn Bhd expects to launch its first Windows XP multi-lingual package, the Window Starter Edition, by June, said managing director Butt Wai Choon.
“The objective of the package, which includes Malay, Chinese and Tamil languages, is to further bridge the digital divide in the country,” he said at a media briefing yesterday.
Butt said the multi-lingual package, which was developed exclusively for the local market, was also meant to further improve the utilisation of personal computers.
