Traffic Overload Shuts Users Out of MSDN Site

Microsoft Corp. on Wednesday experienced yet another problem with one of its download sites, with users trying to get the code for Visual Studio .Net and the .Net Framework from its Developer Network site unable to do so due to a traffic overload on that site. "I have repeatedly tried to download the code during the morning, and every time I do so a message pops up saying, 'The request cannot be processed at this time. The amount of traffic exceeds the Web site's configured capacity,'" a developer and MSDN subscriber told eWEEK this morning.
