OneCare sees drop in firewall use

A recent blog entry by Microsoft's OneCare team notes a slight increase in the number of people turning off their firewall - prompting them to reiterate the need for software firewalls on Windows systems in general. The entry notes that even users with hardware based routers and appliance firewalls should still use a software based firewall as well. It also suggests the amount of information that the OneCare software reports back to Microsoft. From the entry:
