Best Buy had a high profile on the night of the Xbox 360's debut, with Bill Gates launching the console at the retailer's Bellevue store. In the days that followed, however, there were customer complaints of questionable Xbox 360 sales tactics at some Best Buy stores -- with some salespeople reportedly telling people that they needed to buy extra accessories or services to get one of the consoles. That prompted an open letter of apology (PDF) from Brian Dunn, Best Buy's retail president.
