U.S. software giant Microsoft Corp (NasdaqNM:MSFT - news) on Monday reiterated that it plans an initial shipment of 600,000 to 800,000 units of Xbox game consoles when it launches the new system on November 8 in the United States. The company aims to ship 1.5 million consoles by the end of January or the end of the holiday shipping season in the U.S. market, as it had said earlier, Hirohisa Ohura, managing director at Microsoft's Japanese subsidiary told a news conference. ``There will be 15-20 software titles to be released on the launch of Xbox launch in the United States,'' he said. The U.S. company said earlier it would delay the Japanese launch of its Xbox game console to February 22 from the original plan for a debut late this year.
