Remember all that talk about future Xbox 360 revisions possibly including an HD-DVD player as standard? Today, Japan's Jiji News service reports that Microsoft is planning such an update for as early as next year! According to the Jiji report, Microsoft revealed on the 14th that it has entered final stages with Toshiba and other HD-DVD backers on the development of an HD-DVD capable Xbox 360. The company is looking into the possibility of releasing the updated version of the hardware next year, although such a release won't happen until after Spring. | ||
