While this version of the Windows SDK also contains pre-release content for Windows® Vista, the Win32-related content is not compatible with publicly available versions of Windows. This release of the Windows SDK is compatible with the RTM version of Microsoft® Visual Studio 2005. The Windows SDK includes content for the APIs in Windows Vista, including the WinFX technologies: .NET Framework 2.0, Windows® Presentation Foundation, Windows® Communications Foundation, and Windows® Workflow Foundation. Because the Windows SDK now contains the WinFX SDK content, the WinFX SDK will no longer be released separately. This edition of the Windows SDK contains pre-release documentation, samples, and tools designed to help you develop managed applications and libraries using WinFX, the managed programming model for Windows. In future versions of the Windows SDK, the download and custom installation options will allow you to select Win32 or WinFX only content if you desire one or the other. | ||
