This download white paper provides detailed information and recommendations related to hardware, firmware, and software architecture, setup architecture, and tips for designing a multifunction printer (MFP) that meets the requirements for the Windows Logo Program for Hardware for the Microsoft® Windows® family of operating systems, including Windows 2000, Windows XP, and future versions. This paper also provides references to appropriate Windows Driver Development Kit (DDK) and other documentation resources. These recommendations are typically "best practice" guidelines; however, many of these recommendations may become Windows Logo Program requirements in the future.
