A recent study by market research firm Phoenix Marketing International (PMI) found that households with Nintendo GameCubes spend more time playing video games than households without the console. The PMI report examined 50,000 completed interviews from households with at least one game console, finding that GameCube owners spend about 21 hours per week playing games (whether on console or PC), versus 18.5 hours for households with PS2s, and 20 hours for households with an Xbox.
