The North Pole is a buzz of excitement as Santa readies for a rush delivery of all the new XBox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube systems this holiday season. VHQ is getting ready by bulking up its game departments now and is offering a free video game rental with proof of any game system purchase, so gamers can try out all the new games for their new systems. ``Nothing is more exciting for a gamer than getting a new system,'' says Rick Orser, director of purchasing for VHQ. ``At VHQ, we work hard to ensure that we have a great selection of the new games - and the kids know that, so this new promotion should be very exciting.'' From Dec. 1 through Jan. 31, VHQ stores will provide one free new release two-day game rental to customers who bring in a receipt from any retailer for the purchase of any new game console purchased during this period. The free game rental must be the same format as the new game system on the receipt. | ||
