Microsoft's Piracy Replacement Offer: Trick Or Treat? | |

Microsoft's UK division has introduced a "pioneering product replacement offer" targeting Windows XP counterfeiters in that country. The move is in response to the discovery of high quality counterfeit versions of Microsoft Windows XP and is a part of the Windows XP Counterfeit Project. Microsoft is inviting anyone unsure if their copy of Windows XP software is legitimate to submit their product to Microsoft for analysis. Software that is found to be counterfeit will be replaced for free. | ||
