Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced the DVD release of Angel: The Complete Fifth Season (also the series' last). The 6-disc set will be available to own on February 25th with a retain price of $59.98. Each of the episodes will be presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen along with English, French and Spanish Dolby 2.0 Stereo tracks.
Extras include a commentary on "Conviction (Part 1)" by writer/director Joss Whedon, a commentary on "Destiny" by director Skip Schoolnik, writers David Fury and Steven S. DeKnight and actress Juliet Landau, a commentary on "Soul Purpose" by actors David Boreanaz and Christian Kane, and writer Brent Fletcher, a commentary on "You're Welcome" by director David Fury, and actors Christian Kane and Sarah Thompson, a commentary on "Underneath" by director Skip Schoolnik, writers Elizabeth Craft, Sarah Fain and Adam Baldwin, and a commentary on "Not Fade Away" by co-writer/director Jeffrey Bell. Completing the package will be a "Hey Kids! It's Smile Time" featurette, an "Angel 100" featurette, an "Angel: Choreography of a Stunt" featurette, an "Angel: The Final Season" featurette, a "To Live & Die in L.A.: The Best of Angel" feature, a "Halos and Horns: Recurring Villainy" feature and "Angel Unbound: The Gag Reels."
