The federal judge overseeing compliance in the Microsoft antitrust settlement continued to take a wait-and-see approach, even as attorneys for the states and federal government brought up new complaints.
During the past year, the Justice Department and 17 states that negotiated the antitrust deal tried to encourage companies to purchase Microsoft licenses to make their software work better with Windows-based PCs.
"I didn't see any major concerns about licenses in this round," said U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly. "The concern this time around is the issue of documentation."
