ActiveWin Exclusive: In an email received today, official Microsoft Direct X beta testers were told that the DirectX team was pleased to announce the release of DirectX 8.1. Official beta testers have now access to the final code through a private website. Microsoft Direct X 8.1 final for Windows 98, Me & Windows 2000 will be publicly available in the next few days.
