It looks like Microsoft is possibly kicking off another internet-based viral marketing campaign, similar to the one they put on promoting the movie Artificial Intelligence: AI. That game had dozens of sites, each containing cryptic clues and arduous puzzles. When the game was over, just before its masterminds disappeared, they promised something even bigger - something that they said would change the world. That was three years ago. With all the buzz already surrounding Halo 2, Microsoft is sure to receive all the publicity they will need. But some have noticed something peculiar in the recent teaser trailer for the game. (If you aren't curious enough to do the exploring yourself, click the headline for a screenshot.) All we know at this point is that buried in the trailer is a URL to a very unusual site. Time will tell if this is the beginning of something bigger. | ||
