Microsoft Corp. is the target of two more lawsuits alleging racial discrimination, including one filed by attorney Johnnie Cochran, best known for defending O.J. Simpson. The suit filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Seattle on behalf of Landruff Trent, alleges that Microsoft discriminated when evaluating and promoting blacks. Attorneys at the law offices of Cochran, Cherry, Givens & Smith in Los Angeles did not return messages seeking comment Friday. Cochran will be working jointly with the Seattle offices of Cohen, Milstein, Hausfeld & Toll. In October, that law firm filed a class-action lawsuit on behalf of Monique Donaldson, a former Microsoft employee who also claims racial and gender bias.
