Apple has opened up Rendezvous technology to Windows, Linux, Unix and Java developers. Rendezvous enables automatic activation of computer devices, and services on IP networks. It uses industry-standard IP protocols to allow devices to automatically find each other without the need to enter IP addresses or configure DNS servers, and is referred to as zero-configuration networking. | ||
