'Thief: Deadly Shadows' steals your free time | |

Lurking in shadows, picking locks, slipping up behind unsuspecting guards and stowing bodies in dark places -- these are the mechanics of a thief. In "Thief: Deadly Shadows," a new stealth adventure from Eidos for Xbox and PCs, players learn to apply these skills. Garrett, the master thief/hero of "Shadows," is useless in hand-to-hand combat. His skill is working from the shadows, where he is as graceful and deadly as a spider. Crouched and still, Garrett is nearly invisible. He carries an arsenal of gadgets: water arrows to douse torches, moss arrows to dampen the sound of his steps, flash bombs to blind guards and holy water to stop zombies. | ||
