Men of Valor is award-winning developer 2015's historical first-person shooter portraying infantry combat in what is arguably the most contentious conflict of modern times. Comprising a reported total of 16 missions, it tells the tale of a young Marine named Dean Shepard and his squad during the span of years from 1965 to 1968. After arriving at the famed Da Nang air base, they embark on search and destroy operations in the nearby area, and take part in the US forces' first major engagement of the war, Operation Starlight, against the Viet Cong on the coastal plains near Chu Lai. Further action takes place in various locations, continuing through to the infamous Tet Offensive, a month-long series of battles that ultimately produced a military victory but a political and propaganda defeat for the American and South Vietnamese side. | ||
