- DOWNLOAD: Mars24 v5.1.3 View a graphical representation of Mars' current sun and night sides as well as the time it is on Mars and Earth in 24-hour format (you might know as military time) with this Java-based program. There are three windows: settings, numeric time, and graphical display. Each window has the same menu items making it easy to use. You can view different types of projections of the planet other than the ordinary round shape. You can also switch the view to see the orbital position or the solar path. Requires Java v1.3.1 or higher.
- DOWNLOAD: SpeedFan v4.11 SpeedFan is a freeware program that monitors fan speeds, temperatures, and voltages in computers with hardware monitoring chips. SpeedFan can even access S.M.A.R.T. info for those hard disks that support this feature (almost all) and show hard disk temperatures too, if supported. At the lowest level, SpeedFan is a hardware monitoring software, but its main feature is that it can control the speed of the fans (depending on your sensor chip) according to the temperatures inside your PC, thus reducing noise and power consumption. Most Winbond sensors and ASUS AS99127F support fan speed changing as well as others from MYSON, ANALOG DEVICES, NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTORS, and ITE, but the motherboard should make use of available pins.
- DOWNLOAD: AcronymGenie v4.0 Acronym Genie is a searchable database of acronyms and abbreviations from various areas, including Computers, Internet, Information Technology, Programming, Networking, and many others. It includes more than 17,000 acronyms and offers an easy-to-use interface with simple and advanced search options. In addition to acronyms, it also offers anagram lookup. The program includes an offline database and does not use the Internet to perform searches.
