Microsoft today announced that the trial version for Midtown Madness 2, the award-winning sequel to Midtown Madness, is now available for download on the game's official site at http://www.microsoft.com/games/midtown2/. The trial version of Midtown Madness 2 features Cruise, Blitz and Check-Point racing modes, giving gamers the opportunity to polish their racing skills while cruising the streets of San Francisco. Multiplay is enabled for the Blitz racing mode, allowing for free* multiplayer matchmaking on Zone.com (http://www.zone.com). And, for their driving pleasure, players can choose from either the powerful Ford Mustang Fastback or the stylish Mini Cooper Classic. In addition, gamers can experience Crash Course, a new single-player mode where budding drivers can learn and improve their skills by racing as a Hollywood stunt driver on location at a San Francisco movie set. Crash Course features the "Frequent Flyer" lesson only. Midtown Madness 2 can be found at retail locations both domestically and internationally. The game is available in North America for an estimated street price of US$39.99.
