So what is XSN, anyway? XSN takes the experience of playing sports games on Xbox Live beyond the Box and onto the PC, enabling you to set up leagues and tournaments with friends, neighbors, or total strangers through xsnsports.com, meanwhile tracking all of your stats, wins and losses, ranking your skills, and even awarding you trophies for winning championships (some virtual and down the road you might even win actual prizes). The service will also enable you to scout future opponents by checking his or her stats on running the ball in NFL Fever 2004 or how well they shoot the three in NBA Inside Drive 2004. You can e-mail the link to your box score to everyone in the league if you want to talk smack, and in the near future, maybe as soon as the first quarter of 2004, you will be able to schedule games in advance, or have league news sent to you on your PDA or cell phone using Microsoft's .Net technology. | ||
