South Korea's largest Internet portal, Daum Communications, said on Thursday it was seeking a court injunction to block the sale of Microsoft Corp's Windows XP operating system in Korea. Daum has led a move by some Korean software companies against the sale of Windows XP, the latest version of Microsoft's flagship product, which is scheduled for widespread retail release on October 25. "We have filed a complaint against the sale of Windows XP with the Seoul District Court this morning," the company said in a statement. In the complaint, Daum said Microsoft's bundling of a variety of application software, including instant messaging, with Windows XP would constitute an unfair business practice.
