In an interesting turn of events, Artisan Home Entertainment cancelled its June 17th release of Da Hip Hop Witch and has asked retailers to return all VHS and DVD copies that have already been shipped. According to Artisan's official press release, sales and rentals of the title are now prohibited. There's no mention of why the disc has been recalled, but astute viewers could assume it might be legal action from Eminem's camp (the film was recently re-edited to feature the rapper more prominently). | ||
