Palm said on Wednesday it plans to buy Handspring, a company created by renegade Palm co-founder Jeff Hawkins. Maybe the combination can spur popularity of handheld computing; device sales have been slow lately, partially because it's been years since vendors came up with a good new reason to buy a handheld device. | ||
