Microsoft debuted a new series of Project products at the ProjectWorld show in Boston that tie tightly with its Office 2003 desktop suite and form the foundation of its server-based Enterprise Project Management.
Set to ship in the fall alongside Office 2003, Office Project 2003 comes in two versions: a stand-alone desktop package, which replaces last year's Project 2002, and a three-part platform that relies on new server software to extend project management across the company.
The new Project Web Access software gives users access to project tasks and resources stored on the server through their Web browsers.
