What's the big deal about Sam and Max? In the world of adventure games, it was one of the finest. Lucasarts spent no expense on the CD-ROM version of this game, filling it with amazing character acting, cool in-game music, and a storyline that pushed the line of the surreal. It was high quality stuff, and in the world of adventure gaming you couldn't get any better. At a time when Lucasarts was the top of its game, this was the pinnacle of that peak. | ||
Sam
and Max, gone from the gaming world since 1993, are back! Well not back as in
"right this minute" back, but they're currently in the gentle hands of game
developer Infinite Machine, and on their way to being transformed into beautiful
polygons for next-generation consoles. Sorry PC heads, it looks like we get to
sit in the mouth of a metal fish this time around. |
