Sun Microsystems and Microsoft appeared on April 3 before a panel of the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond, Virginia for a hearing on Microsoft's appeal of a lower court’s preliminary injunction that would require Microsoft to carry Sun’s Java technology. The appeals court stayed that order in February, and agreed to hear an expedited appeal.
