Updated disc specs for T2: The Extreme Edition have rolled in from Artisan Home Entertainment. In addition to the details previously mentioned here, the explosive 2-disc set will boast "T2: High-Definition," the complete theatrical version of the film presented in Microsoft Windows Media 9 and playable in high resolution and 5.1 sound directly from your PC.
Full disc specs include a brand new 16x9 transfer of the longer special edition cut (mastered from a new 1080p hi def transfer), a Dolby Digital 5.1 EX track, a new Dolby Headphone audio track, an audio commentary with James Cameron and co-screenwriter William Wisher, an "Extreme Interactive Mode" with graphic commentary and rare behind the scenes footage, "No Feat But What We Make" (an all-new documentary on the role of T2 in the evolution of digital effects and modern filmmaking), "T2: On the Set" (exclusive new retrospective montage of life on the set, featuring rare production footage), Infiltration Unit Simulator and T2 FX Studio (morph your imported images into a T-1000 or T-800 Terminator), Skynet Combat Chassis Designer (Construct and field-test your own ultimate fighting machine and track your progress online), and a collectible metal sculpture embossed package.
The new T2: The Extreme Edition retails $29.98 and will debut on June 3rd, hot on the heels of this summer's theatrical release of T3: Rise of the Machines.
