Microsoft recently updated its "Inside Microsoft.com" website. "Our strategy for achieving this vision focuses on showcasing Microsoft .NET, a set of Microsoft software technologies for connecting information, people, systems, and devices. It enables a high level of software integration through the use of XML-based Web servicessmall, discrete, building-block applications that connect to each other as well as to other, larger applications over the Internet. As we expand the deployment of .NET, Microsoft.com will become a set of .NET Framework Web services that provide information that is relevant to whatever task the user is performing. These Web services will be accessible from any location on the Microsoft Web site and will be syndicated with key partners on the Internet." | ||
