Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq:MSFT - news) said on Thursday it is giving $5 million in cash and $5 million in software and services to help relief groups and government agencies deal with the devastating attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon (news - web sites).
The cash would go to the September 11 Fund set up by the United Way of New York and The New York Community Trust, Microsoft President Rick Belluzzo told employees in a memo made available to Reuters.
