An alliance of technology companies has filed a new complaint with European antitrust regulators over Microsoft Corp.'s Windows XP operating system, just as the regulators were nearing the end of an investigation into earlier versions of Windows. The new complaint could mean more penalties will be imposed against Microsoft -- or it could be disregarded, depending on how willing the EU is to enter into a new investigation this late, a legal expert said. | ||
