Cisco Systems Inc., long-suffering bellwether beset by weak corporate spending on computer networks, will likely tell investors the same old story next week: things aren't getting better any time soon.
"Cisco's been in a holding pattern for a better part of the year," said Sanford C. Bernstein analyst Paul Sagawa, who expects Cisco CSCO.O to forecast to flat-to-down sales for the third quarter ending in April. "It's been at $4.8 billion in quarterly revenues for quite a while."
