Starsky & Hutch was announced for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, Game Boy Advance and PC CD-ROM platforms sometime ago. However, save the launch of the game’s official site, details on the game haven’t exactly been forthcoming. This morning, Empire Interactive shed a bit more light on the upcoming game based on the 1970’s TV show of the same name. First and foremost, Starsky & Hutch will span 15 miles with over 150 miles of road in Bay City to play through. The game will have a total of six weapons to use while battling through 18 levels spread across three series, as well as voice overs from Antonio Fargas, the actor that was Huggy Bear in the show. Moreover, the PlayStation 2 version will support the light gun controller. Starsky & Hutch will ship for the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC CD-ROM platforms during April 2003, with the GameCube and Game Boy Advance versions set to follow during Q3, 2003.
