Fab Problems Hurt Trident's XP4 Chip | |

Manufacturing problems have negatively impacted the production of Trident Microsystems' latest XP4 graphics chip, the company said this week. "Due to reduced customer demand for integrated graphics & core logic solutions, our graphics product shipments continued to decline in the December quarter," said Frank Lin, Trident's president and chief executive, in a statement. | ||
