The European Commission, seeking to prevent future antitrust abuses by Microsoft Corp., may impose different conditions than U.S. regulators on the No. 1 software company, Competition Commissioner Mario Monti said. Monti, answering questions from legislators at the European Parliament earlier this week, said that while the commission ``takes into account'' the U.S. settlement, it ``cannot exclude it would seek different remedies.'' | ||
