Like the stylish Mini Cooper for getting around the city, the sleek Sony VAIO PCV-W10 (a.k.a. the W) has its place: cramped apartments, bedrooms, and dorm rooms where you don't have space to park a big CPU tower. The W can also serve as a stereo and a DVD player, but its tiny integrated speakers and small 15.3-inch screen won't have you listening to music or watching movies from across the room. In terms of bang for your all-in-one PC buck, the $1,600 VAIO W is on a par with the Apple iMac and trails the Gateway Profile 4. The W isn't for everyone, but if you long for style and you're short on space, take the W for a spin.|
