Microsoft has been venturing into enemy territory in its latest bid to win converts from the Linux community. The incursion comes in the form of an advertisement Microsoft has purchased on Slashdot, an insider web site for Linux geeks which claims 50 million page views per month. Microsoft's ad touts its Visual Studio.NET integrated development environment. The tool set is the company's flagship IDE for building Windows-based applications. | ||
